OPERATING "PROMATCH"
|
|
Double click on "PROMATCH" icon. If during the program operation a Message
Window appears stating "Too many files Open" this means that your computer

- Under "Directories" select "C" (Root Directory)

- Open "Config.Sys" file
- Look for line which says "Files"
- Increase the number of files by "10"
(ie. if files =60 then increase by 10 to 70
Note:
In the event that you should open "Config.sys" file and find that
there is no line which reads "FILES" then:
- Close "Notepad"
(You will be asked to Save the File changes, select "YES")
- Close "Program Manager" and exit "Windows"
- Re-Open "Windows"
- Try to open "Promatch"
Repeat the above procedure if the same message appears saying "Too many files
open" then repeat the above procedure.
